• It’s no surprise that modern-day childhood looks a little bit different than childhoods of the past. Peppered with technology and activities that support a more structured or sometimes sedentary lifestyle, todays children are losing out on the most fundamental experiences that help them develop into well-rounded, strong, and creative individuals…

    Playing OUTDOORS in less-structured environments!

Nature-based Occupational Therapy with Well & Wild Child allows your child to experience the wild and develop their well-being at their own pace with tasks that are tailored to fit their individual needs.

Natures outdoor “clinic” provides opportunity to navigate uneven terrain, discover rich sensory experiences, explore & navigate problem solving opportunities such as fallen trees, slippery snow, and so much more. We support & enhance child-led play alongside the most dynamic environment: NATURE.

1:1 OT supports your child to:
…participate effectively with sensory, coordination or social-emotional skills

…develop body awareness as well as coordination & strength of the big & small muscles of the body

…navigate social situations, manage focus & attention skills

    …manage & understand emotions

    …develop new leisure activities

…improve tolerance for sensory experiences such as touch, sound, movement, etc.

    …and so much more
